Anchor Bolt Fixings Used for the Airdecks System
We’ve had a lot of interest in the Airdecks system with lots of enquiries about the anchor bolt fixings we supply. We use a 14mm x 100mm Hilti Huss screw anchors which has a diameter of approximately 10mm, smaller than a 5 pence piece.. This is a truly versatile anchor bolt which allows the wall plate of the Airdecks system to be installed nearer to the edge of a building as it doesn’t stress the brickwork as it doesn’t expand. The Hilti Huss uses the the building as the nut to the screw anchor which means the strength of the fixing is tremendous. There is no requirement for any raw plugs or other fixing – the Hilt Huss is the only safe anchorage required. It can be fitted into the following substrates:
- concrete
- brick
- wood
- marble
- block
- stone & more
The beauty of the Hilti Huss is that the hole which has been used can be reused again and again if the bolt can be fully tightened. The holes in the building can very easily be repaired by plugging them with mortar, colour coded to match the building if you wish or by using a colour mastic to match the colour of the building.
